Role Description

As an Art Instructor, you will assist and lead engaging art classes for children, providing guidance and encouragement while fostering a love for creativity. Your role includes:

Teaching fundamental art skills in a fun and supportive way
Encouraging creative expression through different techniques and materials
Creating a positive and inspiring classroom atmosphere, and safe environment
Supporting students in developing confidence in their artistic abilities
Assisting with studio setup and maintaining a welcoming space

The ideal candidate is passionate about art education, enjoys working with kids, and believes in the power of creativity!

Mandatory Requirements

Passion for teaching and working with children
Strong artistic skills in drawing, painting, or mixed media
Ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment
Reliable, responsible, and great with kids
Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Working right in Australia

Highly Desirable Attributes

Experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring children
Background in fine arts, illustration, or design (formal or self-taught)
Multilingual, ideally Mandarin or Cantonese
Ability to adapt lessons to different age groups and skill levels
Friendly, patient, and encouraging teaching style
